About Linda

Co-creative, innovative thinker. Relational leader.
Deeply rooted in Michigan, dedicated to social impact.

I’m a project manager and facilitator who helps mission-driven organizations navigate change with clarity and care. Rooted in small-town Michigan, I bring 10+ years of experience coordinating complex initiatives across higher education, nonprofits, government, and cross-sector coalitions.

My approach blends strategic thinking with relational leadership. I believe the most sustainable change happens when we center people in our processes, build trust across difference, and create systems that honor both our collective goals and our individual well-being.

My commitment to community work has always been paired with entrepreneurial practice. I’ve learned that sustainable change requires practitioners who can structure their work for the long term, which is why I’ve built my career across salaried positions, consulting, and civic leadership roles.

What Drives Me

I grew up in Albion, Michigan, a diverse town of approximately 7,500 people who have weathered decades of deindustrialization. Watching my community face factory closures, the loss of our hospital, and even the closure of our public schools, taught me that resilience isn’t simply about bouncing back. It’s about honest reckoning with what we’ve lost, recognizing the abundance in what remains, and building toward what’s possible.

This experience shapes how I work. I’m drawn to projects that help rebuild local economies and work at the intersection of community engagement, equity, and public impact. I’m passionate about how we transform institutions and build new systems, and how this impacts our daily lives. Whether I’m supporting the evaluation of a national classification initiative for community engagement, facilitating cross-sector conversations across 15+ organizations, or leading digital accessibility overhauls, I focus on the same question: How do we build structures that help us care for each other?

How I Work

My leadership style is grounded in two core values:

  • Community — I show up with intention, navigate challenges through the lens of social equity, and prioritize collaboration over hierarchy. The best solutions emerge when we create space for diverse voices and lived experience to not only be acknowledged, but also honored.
  • Integrity — I practice radical honesty and stay accountable to actions that align with my values. This means naming hard truths, holding complexity without oversimplifying, and building trust through consistent follow-through.

I’m also neurodivergent, which shapes how I process information, communicate, and solve problems. I’ve learned that what some see as “different” often becomes a strength in facilitation and navigating change: noticing patterns others miss, holding space for multiple perspectives simultaneously, and designing processes that are as genuinely accessible as possible.

What I’m Looking For

I’m seeking a role where I can lead through facilitation, presentation, and hands-on collaboration; work that uses my body and voice, and not primarily sitting in front of a screen. I thrive in environments that value strategic project management, engagement, and systems-level thinking, particularly around building local economies and addressing the social determinants of health. I’m also looking for a team that appreciates neurodivergent communication styles, creates space for different ways of working, and provides fair compensation.

Beyond Work

I write about project management as an embodied practice, building capacity for joy, and various connections between our daily lives and the social determinants of health. You can read my reflections on my blog.

I also perform comedy and storytelling because I believe humor is one of the most powerful ways we can build connection, process complexity, and remember our shared humanity.
